Who We Are
EPIC Membership

EPIC Psychology and Wellbeing Services is a school led partnership established to meet the needs of local children, families and schools. Our partnership of 34 schools work closely together to develop a high quality service that best supports the need of our Schools. We have an effective working relationship with Leicestershire County Council and deliver a range of wellbeing support for schools which includes working with families and staff teams to support with training.

Using applied psychology, we adopt proactive/preventative, systemic and targeted approaches in consultation with schools to identify and assess areas of emotional health and well-being where educational psychology support can make a positive difference. We aim to build capacity in school communities by helping the members to understand complexity and plan interventions with clarity in order to nurture children’s well-being and learning. To make sure all systems and communications with stakeholders are clear so that the EP service/provision is transparent and schools feel supported.

What We Can Offer
EPIC Membership

Our service provides high need support for children and families but also aims to develop an effective wellbeing provision to support families, safeguard children’s mental health and offer training for all people working with our children. We currently offer:

Individual work with children

Training from our core offer

ASD Pathway work

Therapeutic approaches

Drop-ins for staff

We are developing other ways of working including supervision to staff, group work for children and collaborative working on common psychological themes.

How To Join
EPIC Membership

We are now accepting requests from schools who are keen to join our school led wellbeing partnership. We have a limited number of spaces for schools to join us from September 2016 so if you are interested then please get in touch very soon. We are seeking schools that wish to be part of a 3 year rolling membership* programme and those who will help to support further development of EPIC in the future.

*All membership is subject to a completed partnership agreement being returned by all schools or partnerships.

The deadline for new partners joining EPIC is May 20th 2016.
